pick & store tomato seeds


First, marked tomatoes to get seeds. the first fruits are the ones who have the best characteristics these must collect the seeds cut the selected tomatoes from tomatoes only when they have matured enough.
1 - remove the seeds of tomato
cut the tomatoes squeeze into a bowl their seeds.
2 - Dilute with water
3 - Cover and store mix
Cover the bowl with a transparent film packaging a shady and cool spot. I leave for 3 to 4 days.
Step 4 - Develop mold
After 3 to 4 days, the appearance of the mixture will be very different surface of the mixture will grow mold. It is part of the process.
5 - Remove the mold and wash with clean water
Repeat as many times as necessary until the seeds gets clean then use a strainer to remove the water completely and keep only the seeds. Flush again and again the seeds dropping water through the strainer.
6 - dry
stretch the seeds in a bowl and put to dry in a place that is warm and the sunlight for several hours.to avoid the seeds to food for birds, cover the tulle for a few days to dry completely. Once a day the scramble to change their position.
7 - Store
Store seeds in airtight jars.store in a no moisture place until next year when use them.
